At one end of the spectrum there are corrosion prevention coatings that drip, run, never dry, and offer very little rust prevention. Paint and other permanent coatings are at the other end of that spectrum.

MAVCOAT^® STEEL SHIELD falls in between these products.

It is a polymer film that is sprayed on and dries rapidly, leaving a clear coating with no oily or greasy feel, that does not drip or run. It is not paint and it can be welded through without having to be removed. It has been designed to withstand extreme environments and harsh conditions found in applications such as, off-roading, landscaping tools and equipment, irrigation, metal fabrication, and welding. Each coating can offer up to six months of rust and corrosion prevention.
